NEW YORK, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Irish actor Liam Neeson says he may return to the New York stage later this year in the Broadway premiere of David Mamet's play, "Oleanna."

The "Schindler's List" star, who will be seen Friday in the new big-screen western, "Seraphim Falls," has previously appeared on Broadway in "Anna Christie," "The Crucible" and "The Judas Kiss."

"I'd like to do something, yeah, later on this year. I've been offered David Mamet's 'Oleanna,' which hasn't been done here. It was done in London very successfully in 1992 or 1993, I think," Neeson told reporters in New York City Tuesday.

"I've been offered it. You know, when you're married with kids, all the planets have to be in a certain alignment to go back on stage. I do miss it and I do want to go back."
