NEW YORK, Jan. 23 (UPI) -- Would-be stars have an opportunity to pose with an Oscar in New York's Time Square when "Meet the Oscars, New York" opens in February.
Among the Oscars on display are two from actual award winners -- the statuette awarded to Clark Gable for "It Happened One Night," and Bette Davis' Oscar awarded for her role in "Jezabel," the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences said Tuesday. The exhibit will run Feb. 12-25.
In addition, visitors can be photographed with the coveted gold-plated statue.
Fifty other statuettes featured in the New York exhibition will be presented to winners at a future Academy Awards.
Statues on display in "Meet the Oscars, Los Angeles" which runs Feb 9-24, will be awarded to winners at the 79th Academy Awards ceremony Feb. 25.
