Steven Seagal's blues band tours Europe

GLASGOW, Scotland, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Hollywood action actor Steven Seagal kicked off a European tour with his blues band, Thunderbox, with a gig in Glasgow, Scotland.

The band, which plays delta blues numbers written by Seagal, will tour Europe for two months, the BBC said. Some of Seagal's works have been used in his movies.

Seagal, who starred in "Under Siege" and "The Patriot," said he plans to return to Scotland once the tour is competed.

In addition to acting and martial arts skills, Seagal also campaigns for the environment.
