'Survivor' survives for two more seasons

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- U.S. fans of the reality show "Survivor" can expect at least two more seasons of challenges, immunity and people being booted off islands, CBS announced.

With its 14th season set to premiere this spring, "Survivor" received a two-installment pick-up for the 2007-08 season, Zap2it.com said.

Although "Survivor: Cook Islands" suffered some ratings drop-off, the show still averaged 15.75 million viewers.

"Survivor: Fiji" is scheduled to premiere Feb. 8.
