LOS ANGELES, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- The hectic life of U.S. rapper Kanye West will be at the heart of a planned unscripted TV series on the HBO cable network.
The Hollywood Reporter Wednesday said that the "Late Registration" rapper's busy lifestyle will act material for the as-yet-untitled project from former "Seinfeld" writer Larry Charles.
Charles directed the hit comedy film, "Borat," and has teamed with fellow "Seinfeld" writer Larry David as the executive producer and director of HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
West followed up his immensely popular "Late Registration" and "College Dropout" albums, that together earned him six Grammy awards, by producing a feature film based in part on his music.
The film, in which the multi-platinum artist also will appear, focuses on several filmmakers' perspectives of the current state of the United States.
