LOS ANGELES, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- VH1 is mining for gold in Hollywood's B List by expanding its "Surreal Life" genre with "The Surreal Life Fame Games."

The Web site TMZ.com reported Wednesday that the new show pits celebrities against one another. Last Sunday's premier included Vanilla Ice, Poison's C.C. Deville, Pepa of "Salt n' Pepa" and the wrestler Joanie "Chyna Doll" Laurer.

TMZ says Chyna was shedding real tears after losing the first celebrity contest. The contestants' egos were on the line, as the stars competed against one another to see which one would get the most requests for photographs by audience members.

Vanilla Ice won the first round while Chyna was standing by as the also-ran. Fellow contestant and X-rated legend Ron Jeremy warmly embraced her to shore up her hurt feelings.

Next Sunday's episode will features contestants losing their tempers, TMZ hinted.
