LOS ANGELES, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz's rocky Hollywood relationship has reportedly ended after Timberlake cast Scarlett Johansson in his new video.
It didn't seem likely that Johansson would agree to be in Timberlake's video, but a friend of the actress said it doesn't come as a surprise since she had a crush on Timberlake, Us Weekly reported Wednesday.
"Scarlett has always liked Justin. They've always had a flirtation -- that's why Cameron was threatened by her," said the friend.
The casting of the 20-year-old actress in the video reportedly pushed Diaz and Timberlake's relationship to the breaking point, and gave Johansson a chance to make a move.
"She could not believe he went behind her back to put her in the video," said a friend of Timberlake. "Cameron was very jealous of Scarlett.
"They (Timberlake and Johansson) definitely got together after she did the video," added the source.
