LOS ANGELES, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Vanessa Marcil became engaged this New Year's Eve to an unknown suitor and is planning bridal showers in New York and London, a report said.

An exclusive report from TV Guide.com said that the 37-year-old actress, who stars in NBC's "Las Vegas," did indeed get engaged Sunday but the identity of her fiance remains a mystery.

The last person romantically linked to Marcil was "Prime" writer-director Ben Younger, yet the actress refused to confirm the film head's position as her future husband.

The former "General Hospital" actress was previously married to actor Corey Feldman. Marcil also has a 4-year-old son, Kassius Lijah Marcil-Green, with former "Beverly Hills 90210" actor Brian Austin Green.
