'View' co-hosts defend S.E. Cupp over Hustler photo
NASHVILLE, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Actor Mario Lopez, who starred in "Dancing With the Stars," is set to host the 2007 Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas.
The pageant will take place at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Jan. 29 and will air on CMT.
The 2007 Miss America Pageant will be produced by Don Mischer Productions.
"We are pleased that immediately following his successful star turn on 'Dancing With the Stars,' Mario Lopez has agreed to host the Pageant," Sam Haskell III, who chairs the Miss America Organization, said in a statement.
"Our executive producers Sarah Brock and Don Mischer did an outstanding job securing Mario, and we are honored to welcome him into the Miss America family."
