LOS ANGELES, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Los Angeles rockers, Guns-n-Roses, have postponed the release of their new album until early March.

Front man Axl Rose said the "Chinese Democracy" CD had been a "nightmare" ordeal of delays and obstacles that caused the band to miss its end-of-2006 deadline.

Spotlighting News said Wednesday that while Rose appeared to blame the delays on the group's former management, the management firm told Rolling Stone that Rose had been under significant pressure while putting "Chinese Democracy" together.

The album is the mercurial band's first studio work since 1991.
