William Shatner will help out Space Camp

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Actor William Shatner, who played the famous captain James T. Kirk on the original "Star Trek," will host the Space Camp Hall of Fame Induction.

Larry Capps, the head of the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala., said Shatner agreed to be head up the very first Space Camp Hall of Fame induction banquet on June 13th, Access Hollywood reported Tuesday.

This year is the Space Camp's 25th anniversary.

The event will see 10 people who either attended Space Camp or have been major supporters of the Space Camp and Space Center inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The date and location of the banquet are not yet final and will be announced at a later date, said Capps.
