LONDON, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- British singer Lily Allen is pleading on her MySpace blog for her fans to help locate her stolen English bull terrier, Maggie May.

The 21-year-old singer, who learned while vacationing in Jamaica that the dog had been stolen, is asking for information on the 8-month-old dog's disappearance, The Daily Mail said.

"The family are really upset and have had a terribly bad day, as you can imagine," a publicist for Allen said. "Lily will be back in the country before the new year but she is very much involved from where she is in Jamaica and has been in constant contact with us."

The "Smile" star's dog was one of three in the back of a van parked in the London borough of Forest Gate, but was the only animal taken, the newspaper said.
