LOS ANGELES, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Former "Happy Days" star Marion Ross is scheduled to make a guest appearance early next year on ABC's "Brothers & Sisters."

Zap2it.com reports that Ross will play Nora (Sally Field) and Saul's (Ron Rifkin) mother as she makes an unwelcome visit home at the same time that Nora marks a milestone in her life.

Ross, who earned two Emmy nods during her time as Marian Cunningham on "Happy Days," also has recently appeared in episodes of "Gilmore Girls" and "The Drew Carey Show."
