LOS ANGELES, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- David E. Kelley has a new series to debut in the United States on Fox called "The Wedding Planners," starring Teri Polo, Sarah Jones and KaDee Strickland.
The series is about three sisters that run a family wedding-planning business. Jon Amiel will direct and executive produce the first episode.
Polo, the Hollywood Reporter says, will play the older so-called conservative sister; Jones will play Sammy, the free-spirited youngest sister and Strickland will play the strong-willed sister No. 3.
Michael Landes, also cast in the project, will play a wedding photographer who has a good rapport with the jittery brides.
Some of Kelley's other TV credits include "L.A. Law," "Doogie Howser, M.D.," "Picket Fences," "Chicago Hope" and "Boston Legal."
