No insurance for 50 Cent in brawl lawsuit

WASHINGTON, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- The insurance company for 50 Cent says it is not liable for any damages in a lawsuit based on a brawl allegedly involving the U.S. rapper last year.

The New York Post reported that National Fire has claimed that the rapper, who is being sued by radio personality "Zxulu" Dunkerson, violated his insurance coverage by waiting more than a year to inform the company of the suit.

Dunkerson has claimed in the $10 million lawsuit that during a radio interview in Washington last year, a member of 50 Cent's entourage attacked him and stole his phone.

The Post said in addition to the alleged assault and theft, purportedly brought about by a joke made by Dunkerson, 50 Cent's G-Unit group then released a song that allegedly insulted the radio DJ and the city of Washington.
