BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Dec. 11 (UPI) -- In the first post-wedding celebration for stars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, countless celebrities offered their congratulations at a California party.

At Saturday's party at the Beverly Hills home of Cruise's producing partner Paula Wagner, actor Denzel Washington and director Steven Spielberg were among those stars in attendance, ET Online reported.

Also present at the celebration for the couple's Nov. 18 wedding were actresses Kirsten Dunst, Penelope Cruz and Brooke Shields. Another celebrity couple, singers Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, also made an appearance to wish the couple well.

The party was the most recent outing for Cruise and Holmes since they returned from their honeymoon on the island of Maldives off the coast of India, the report said.

The Web site reported that previously the couple had been seen at Thursday night's Los Angeles premiere of their friend Will Smith's newest production, "The Pursuit of Happyness."
