NEW YORK, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Actor Kevin Nealon, who gained fame on the New York set of "Saturday Night Live," is set to welcome his first child with his wife, Susan Yeagley.

People magazine reported that the 53-year-old actor, who is currently starring in the TV series "Weeds," revealed the impending birth on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien."

The announcement comes more than a year after the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Bellagio, Italy.

Nealon is known for such characters such as Mr. Subliminal and one-half of the comic bodybuilding duo "Hans and Franz." Yeagley has appeared in such TV series as "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "ER."

The couple join forces as hosts of the upcoming TBS special "Funniest Commercials of the Year."
