Gross of 'Sopranos' admits to larceny

NEW YORK, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Actor Louis Gross, who plays Perry Annunziata on "The Sopranos," has pleaded guilty to petit larceny in a New York courtroom.

The 23-year-old actor had been facing charges in connection with a shoplifting arrest in February. His guilty plea Wednesday earned him a jail sentence of time served, the New York Post said.

Gross, who plays Tony Soprano's chauffer on the HBO series, was charged with stealing a shirt from the trendy New York clothing store, Michael K.

The actor, whose nickname is "Muscles Marinara" on the series, also faces charges that he attacked a store manager and security guard who tried to stop him from getting away.
