Spokesmen Stephen Huvane and John Posana confirmed the couple's split to People magazine.

"After Jennifer's trip to London several weeks ago, Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship, but continue to be good friends today," said the couple's representatives.

Vaughn, 36, has been in England since September filming "Fred Claus" while Aniston, 37, has been working in Los Angeles and New York.

The couple got together during the summer of 2005, ironically while filming "The Break-Up."

Rumors of the couple being close to a split have been circulating since Vaughn didn't show for Aniston's appearance in the "24 Hour Plays" benefit in New York in October.

Andy Dick sorry for copycat meltdown

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Comedian Andy Dick has apologized for spouting the "N" word a la Michael Richards to a Los Angeles nightclub audience.

Dick's publicist released a statement late Tuesday claiming the rocket fired at the Improv last weekend was meant to be a joke about the Richards' incident, which he added "was not funny."

The incident made entertainment headlines this week when it was reported by the Web site TMZ.com. The online report said Dick had been heckling fellow comic Ian Bagg and then joined him on the stage. He wrapped things up by pointing to the crowd and repeating the now-infamous line Richards used on his audience.

Dick's publicist told The Los Angeles Times that the incident was taken out of context and not representative of what occurred at the Improv.

Paul McCartney must tear down his cabin

PEASMARSH, England, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Former Beatle Paul McCartney has been given six months to dismantle his unauthorized $2 million cabin on his East Sussex estate.

McCartney built the cabin about three years ago on his 933-acre estate, near Peasmarsh, East Sussex, and now he must tear down the two-bedroom structure cabin, The Telegraph reported Wednesday.

The cabin and another pavilion, which overlooks a lake turned into a wildlife sanctuary by McCartney and his late wife Linda, has been the subject of a yearlong planning dispute.

Rother District Council's planning committee is expected to approve an enforcement notice Thursday, stating that the cabin must be gone by June 30.

Jet Li set to star in China's 'Ci Ma'

BEIJING, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Action movie star Jet Li will appear in Chinese director Peter Ho-Sun Chan's new movie "Ci Ma," but not as a martial artist.

The film recounts the relationships of three blood brothers who become divided by the love of a woman, China's Xinhua news service reported. The $40 million production of "Ci Ma," which began shooting in Beijing on Dec. 1, is adapted from one of the most well known criminal cases in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

The film's title translates to "The Assassination of Ma," and tells the story of three brothers' bitter rivalry over a woman. Jet Li is set to play the role of the eldest brother, Ma, who ends up dying at the hand of his youngest brother.

"The director told me it is not a kung fu movie but an antiwar one, because he knew I no longer want to act in martial arts movies," Li said at a news conference in Beijing.
