LOS ANGELES, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Hollywood actors Ahmet Zappa and Selma Blair have officially finalized their divorce over reported "irreconcilable differences."

The son of late rocker Frank Zappa had married the 34-year-old "Hellboy" actress in a 2004 traditional Jewish ceremony. Blair filed for the divorce in July and her request was finalized Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, US Weekly reported.

The marriage was the first for both actors and the celebrity couple has no children.

Zappa, whose debut novel "The Monstrous Memoirs of a Mighty McFearless" was released in July, is currently said to working with the Jim Henson Company on a film adaptation of the 1980s children's TV series "Fraggle Rock."

Meanwhile, US Weekly said Blair is involved in no less than seven films, among them the drama "Homeland Security" and "Purple Violets."
