Rapper says Oprah caters to whites

CHICAGO, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Rapper 50 Cent says U.S. talk superstar Oprah Winfrey has become a white woman who caters more to their needs than she does to the needs of black women.

50 Cent, the latest rapper to take a swipe at Winfrey, criticized the talk show diva in an interview to be published in the January issue of Elle magazine, Tmz.com said Thursday. In the magazine article, the rapper said Winfrey "started out with black women's views but has been catering to middle-aged white American women for so long that she's become one herself."

Former drug dealer nicknamed Fitty, Ice Cube and other rappers, have been critical of Winfrey for not including rap artists on her show. For her part, Winfrey has criticized rappers for their "hateful" and degrading lyrics.
