MCCLURE, Ill., Nov. 24 (UPI) -- A strip club in McClure, Ill., will not be featuring topless dancers when the rock band Skid Row performs there.

The Cape Girardeau Southern Missourian reported that HushPuppy Saloon owner Jamie Thompson said that this is the first time he's booked a band to play at the club since he's owned it. Skid Row is scheduled Wednesday. He said he's thinking about booking more shows in the future.

"If they go well, we're going to keep doing the shows," Thompson said.

Skid Row, popular in the 1980s and early 90s, is known as one of the last successful "hair metal" bands.

Wednesday's show will be open to those 18 years of age or older. The Southern Missourian reported that security will be watching closely to prevent underage drinking.
