MUMBAI, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- In the wake of a scandal that involved some of their security officers, actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took a boat ride in India without any protection.
The celebrity couple were plunged into a police case involving their security detail, then decided to take a boat ride in the Indian city of Mumbai recently with only their children, children Zahara and Maddox, in tow, TMZ.com reported.
While the couple's baby, Shiloh, remained safe with the celebrities' British bodyguards, the unguarded outing came at a time of upheaval for the duo, the report said.
Last week, members of the couple's security detail were arrested by area police on allegations they verbally and physically abused parents and children at a nearby school.
TMZ.com said Pitt, who has been in India working with Jolie on the set of the film "A Mighty Heart," has denied that his bodyguards used any derogatory remarks during the incident.
