SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- A 10,000-square-foot U.S. mansion made famous as home to Cuban gangster Tony Montana in the film "Scarface" has been put up for sale for $29.5 million.
While the popular 1983 movie by director Brian de Palma placed the locale in Miami, the actual five-bedroom residence is in California's Santa Barbara County and is now being sold by Sotheby's International Realty, the New York Post said.
Currently owned by a businessman, the 14-acre El Fureidis Estate features an in-ground swimming pool, several gardens and breathtaking mountain views.
Famed for being the location where Montana, played by actor Al Pacino, was killed in torrents of gunfire, the newspaper said the mansion remains intrinsically linked to the movie's fabled line, "Say hello to my little friend."
