NEW YORK, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Magician David Blaine has a new stunt planned for New York Thanksgiving week shackled inside in a giant spinning gyroscope suspended about 40 feet in the air.

Blaine hopes to spin inside the gyroscope from Tuesday through Thursday, the New York Post reported Saturday.

The device will twirl continuously for the benefit of New Yorkers and tourists pouring into the city for the holiday.

The Post said Blaine warmed up on Friday by hanging from a wrecking ball four stories above the street using only one hand.
