ATLANTA, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Whitney Houston has already lost one house in Georgia and now the troubled singer stands to lose a second home in New Jersey.
While the 43-year-old singer struggles financially to maintain her mansion in Mendham Township, N.J., the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that her former home in Georgia's Fulton County has been auctioned off since going into foreclosure this fall.
Details of the Nov. 7 sale of Houston's Georgia home were not released. The "I Will Always Love You" singer bought the home for $1.1 million in 2003, the newspaper said.
Houston signed a $100 million deal with Arista Records in 2001, but is in danger of losing her New Jersey mansion because she owes nearly $1 million in mortgage payments and an additional $83,000 in municipal property taxes.
The paper said Houston -- who filed for divorce from singer Bobby Brown in September -- remains in Los Angeles where she is recording a potential comeback album.
