Will Smith nervous about daughter dating

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Veteran TV actor Luke Perry has joined the cast of "John from Cincinnati," an upcoming HBO series set in California.
The 41-year-old former "Beverly Hills 90210" actor will guest-star in the series pilot, but will join as a full-time cast member when the family drama begins its regular rotation, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Perry's other TV credits include HBO's prison drama "Oz," Showtime's "Jeremiah" and the NBC comedy "Will & Grace."
Created by David Milch -- the mind behind the former HBO series "Deadwood" -- "John from Cincinnati" follows the exploits of a dysfunctional family in Southern California.
The Reporter said filming has already begun on the series, which is scheduled to premiere next summer.
