Mrs. Ted Nugent in TV pilot on hunting

DETROIT, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- The wife of "Motor City Madman" Ted Nugent is breaking into U.S. television with a pilot for a new reality show with a hunting theme.

Shemane Nugent tells the Detroit Free Press her project "Queen of the Forest" involves experienced hunters giving city slickers a crash course in woodsman skills.

Like her rock star husband, Mrs. N says she is an avid hunter who has done the African safari thing and credits a regular venison diet with keeping her trim.

Her good health comes after a scare linked to toxic mold in their home near Jackson, Michigan. She told the newspaper the whole family was getting ill, and they eventually had to move out and raze the place.

The pilot is scheduled to air Jan. 1 on The Outdoor Channel.
