'Cheaters' members charged with assault

FORT WORTH, Texas, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Four members of the reality television show "Cheaters," who expose cheating partners, went on trial on charges they attacked a woman they were filming.

A Tarrant County, Texas, jury will decide on 10 charges facing the host of the show, Joey Greco, the director, Hunter Carlson, and two security guards, Walter Earl Woods and Thomas Gibbons, the Dallas Morning News reported Tuesday.

The four that are on trial before County Criminal Court Judge Mike Mitchell, are all accused of assaulting Maria Gutierrez while she was leaving an Arlington, Texas, fitness club last year.

The host and director are charged with unlawful restraint, hindering apprehension and assault with bodily injury.

The two bodyguards are charged with assault with bodily injury and unlawful restraint.

Each charge is a Class A misdemeanor that is punishable by one year in jail and a $4,000 fine.
