NEW YORK, Nov. 7 (UPI) --   Swarovski Crystal is set to unveil the star that will sit atop the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, and smaller stars designed by celebrity "starmakers."

These special 18" x 18" stars were created by Paris Hilton, Brooke Shields, Teri Hatcher, Dakota Fanning, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tyra Banks and Maria Menounos. Each star was decorated using a "Glamkit" from Swarovski that included crystals, silk fabric and lights.

The "starmaker" stars will be auctioned off on eBay from Nov. 8 through Nov. 15. All proceeds are to go to Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation, a non-profit organization helping seriously ill children and their families.

Alongside the unveiling of the celebrity-designed stars will be Swarovski's 9 1.2-foot, 550-pound star to go atop the Rockefeller tree.
