Lohan and Knightly in new production

LONDON, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Lindsay Lohan is set to join Keira Knightly in "The Best Time of Our Lives," a British project directed by John Maybury.

The Daily Variety reported on the story, based on the relationships among Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, his wife Caitlin (Lohan), his childhood friend Vera Phillips (Knightly) and her eventual husband William Killick. Based on these true relationships, the story centers on an infamous incident in which Phillips and Killick shot the Thomas home with a machine gun and hit it with a hand grenade.

Maybury is currently in negotiations with British-based Sarah Radclyffe Prods., the Daily Variety reports.

Rebekah Gilbertson, who is producing the project with Radclyffe, is the granddaughter of Phillips and Killick.
