NEW YORK, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Previews began Monday for the latest Broadway revival of the musical comedy "Company" at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.

The 1970 work from Stephen Sondheim and George Furth stars Raul Esparza and is slated for a Nov. 29 opening night.

Esparza, who plays bachelor Robert, was part of the cast in the shakedown performances in Cincinnati last spring. Barbara Walsh and Heather Laws also were held over from the Ohio cast.

Playbill described the show as a sophisticated assessment of love in modern Manhattan. Director John Doyle, in fact, said he had fitted all the actors in costumes invoking a sleek "'New York black'" cocktail party image."

This will be the third incarnation of "Company" on the Great White Way.
