SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- The iconic 1960s rock band, Moby Grape, has reunited and is getting ready for a U.S. tour.
Original members Peter Lewis, Jerry Miller, Bob Mosley and Don Stevenson will perform Jan. 12 at San Francisco's Fillmore Auditorium with guitarist Omar Spence in for his father, Skip Spence, who died of lung cancer in 1999, Pollstar reports.
Jefferson Starship alums Aynsley Dunbar and Pete Sears will be on stage as well to resurrect Moby hits such as "Hey Grandma," "Omaha" and "8:05."
The show will celebrate the end of more than two decades of litigation over the name Moby Grape with the band's former manager, Matthew Katz.
"The band is doing the show as a thank you to the people who helped them finally win the case," booking agent Geoffrey Blumenauer told Pollstar.
He said he was also working on routing for a full U.S. tour.
