Jackson making comeback album in Ireland

DUBLIN, Ireland, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- While staying in the Irish town of Mullingar, pop icon Michael Jackson is said to be working on his comeback musical album.

The 48-year-old pop star has reportedly been recording a new album while staying in the Irish countryside, but the (London) Daily Mail said he is also attempting to create a sense of normalcy for his three children.

Since arriving at the Irish retreat three months ago, Jackson has reportedly been trying to make life as normal as possible for 9-year-old Prince Michael Jackson Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, 8, and Prince Michael II, 4, following his acquittal on child molestation charges in California.

Jackson reportedly plans to re-record his classic album "Thriller" with will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas -- a decision the "Beat It" singer said was inspired by his visit to Ireland.

"I've never given up on making music," the newspaper quoted the singer. "Ireland has inspired me to make a great new album."
