
HONOLULU, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Canadian actor Nathan Fillion, who played Captain Malcolm Reynolds in the TV series "Firefly," is set join the cast of ABC's hit series "Lost."
The 35-year-old actor, who was born in Edmonton, Alberta, will play a man named Kevin in a Nov. 8 episode of the immensely successful TV series, Moviehole.net reports.
Fillion garnered a strong sci-fi following for his lead role on the short-lived series "Firefly" and its corresponding film "Serenity," and recently completed production in Patrick Lussier's cinematic sequel, "White Noise 2: The Light."
TMZ.com said that in addition to awaiting Fillion's performance in "Lost," which is in the middle of its third season," his fans can expect a promising turn in the film sequel to 2005 drama starring Michael Keaton.
