No C-murder interviews on new album

NEW ORLEANS, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Judge Martha Sassone, of Louisiana's State District Court has ruled that Corey "C-Murder" Miller can be photographed but not interviewed about his new album.

Sassone told Miller, who is under house arrest until his February trial, that giving interviews would violate the gag order enforced to make sure the case doesn't receive attention from the public before the trial, SOHH.com reported Tuesday.

"I guess the music will have to speak for itself," Sassone reportedly told Miller. "Capitol Records will have to find another way to advertise it."

Miller is accused of killing Steve Thomas outside a nightclub in Harvey, La. on Jan. 12, 2002. He was convicted of second-degree murder but the ruling was overturned and a new trial was set. Miller was put under house arrest as a condition of his $500,000 bail.
