'Fugitive' Wesley Snipes in Namibia

NEW YORK, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Actor Wesley Snipes, indicted earlier this week on U.S. tax evasion charges, is in Namibia making a movie.

Edwin Kanguatjivi, head of the Namibian film commission, told the New York Daily News that Snipes is in the third week of shooting of an action movie called "Gallowwalker."

Snipes and two other men were indicted earlier this week in Florida. Snipes allegedly did not file tax returns between 1999 and 2004 and allegedly tried to defraud the government of $12.5 million in taxes.

Namibia was recently in the news as the place where Angelina Jolie gave birth to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie Pitt.
