NEW YORK, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Despite divorcing architect Peter Cook only three months ago, U.S. supermodel Christie Brinkley is thriving in her new life.
The 52-year-old, who appeared at an Oct. 11 Skin Cancer Foundation benefit in New York, is reportedly doing great both personally and in her career since she and Cook split in the wake of his admitted infidelity, said People magazine.
"She looks better than any 19-year-old I've ever dressed," stylist Jessica Paster said of Brinkley. "She's an inspiration to women of all ages."
The mother of three is currently offering Hyatt hotel guests wake-up calls featuring her voice and is also continuing her impressive modeling career with work for Cover Girl, a company she first worked for back in 1976.
Brinkley's good friend, dermatologist Patricia Wexler, said that the supermodel is still recuperating from her troubled marriage but her fortitude will likely see her through it.
"It's a work in progress," Wexler told People. "But she's strong and smart and beautiful, and she's going to do OK."
