'View' co-hosts defend S.E. Cupp over Hustler photo

LEEDS, England, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- A big winner of British TV's "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" set a record for the lowest first-round score ever on the quiz show "Mastermind."
Probation worker Simon Curtis won $465,000 on "Millionaire last year, but scored only a single point when faced with "Mastermind" questions about the career of actor Jim Carrey, the Daily Mail reported Wednesday.
Curtis said his mind went "blank" and he wished "a hole would swallow" him up after the dismal first round.
"Mastermind" host John Humphrys was not overly sympathetic.
"You get people who are immensely knowledgeable and then it won't come... You feel a bit sorry for them, you think 'poor bugger' but it's a game in the end," he told the Mail.
