LOS ANGELES, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Country singer Sara Evans has quit ABC-TV's "Dancing With the Stars" because her divorce is causing too much stress, a magazine reports.
The 35-year-old singer, who had been paired in the show with professional-dancing partner Tony Dovolani, "is in the middle of a nasty divorce and it is too much for her to keep going," Us magazine reports, citing an unnamed source.
An ABC spokesman would not comment but encouraged viewers to tune in Tuesday, the magazine said.
Evans gave no indication of her departure or divorce when she spoke with the magazine Tuesday.
She told Us magazine her husband "thinks it is amazing to watch the transition of someone who had never danced before to someone who is really enjoying dancing, so he finds it phenomenal."
