HERNANDO, Miss., Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Phoebe Lewis, daughter of famed singer Jerry Lee Lewis, has moved into her father's home in Nesbit, Miss., to help him recover from his recent divorce.

The 71-year-old rock and roller, whose name has become synonymous with scandal in the music industry and is affectionately known as "The Killer," recently ended his seventh marriage and his daughter is determined to help him through it, Rolling Stone magazine reported.

"I was born to take care of my daddy. I never married, don't want to have kids. I'm not going to steal his money or give him drugs," Phoebe Lewis said, referring to he singer's sixth wife, Kerrie Lynn McCarver Lewis.

The "Great Balls of Fire" singer has dealt with numerous personal tragedies including the accidental deaths of his two sons, Steven Allen and Jerry Lee Lewis Jr., but he continues to produce new music when possible.

Rolling Stone reported that Lewis recently released the album "Last Man Standing," on which the lone remaining Sun Records artist collaborated with artists such as Kid Rock and Keith Richards.
