Timberlake's 'SexyBack' still No. 1

NEW YORK, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- Justin Timberlake sits in No. 1 spot on the Hot 100 singles list for the seventh consecutive week with his "SexyBack."

The No. 2 and No. 3 positions were unchanged as well, Billboard.com reported Thursday. Holding the No. 2 spot was Ludacris' "Money Maker" featuring Pharrell. Hinder's "Lips of an Angel" retained the No. 3 spot.

Akon's "Smack That" jumped to No. 4 from No. 7 last week. The Fray's "How to Save a Life" fell one position to No. 5.

Rounding out the Top 10 were Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars," No. 6; Jibbs' "Chain Hang Low," and JoJo's "Too Little To Late" tied at No. 7; Weird Al Yankovic's "White & Nerdy," No. 9, and Nickelback's "Far Away," No. 10.


'Dance' judge dating ballroom dancer

NEW YORK, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- "Dancing with the Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba says Russian ballroom dancer Artem Chigvintsev is the champ of her heart.

Inaba and Chigvintsev were seen hugging following ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" results show Wednesday, in which singer-dancer Willa Ford and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were eliminated, People magazine said.

Inaba and Chigvintsev have been dating for about eight months, the magazine said. Inaba called her companion her "ballroom champ," the magazine said.

Chigvintsev starred in Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance," during its inaugural season and was the show's choreographer in season two, People said.


Lachey admits 'Newlyweds' was a mistake

NEW YORK, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- During an appearance on New York's "Late Night with David Letterman," singer Nick Lachey admitted MTV's "Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica" was a mistake.

Speaking on the CBS late night talk show Wednesday, Lachey admitted that the reality series that focused on he and his ex-wife, singer Jessica Simpson, was a dumb idea.

"It was among the dumber ideas I think I've ever seen executed in history," Lachey told Letterman.

"For a while we actually enjoyed doing the show (but) it just got to a place where it was so invasive, it became a problem."

The series ran for three seasons and covered a large portion of the singing duo's 3 1/2 years together and since then the couple's divorce has been met with equal media attention.

Jolie's driver sideswipes biker in escape

PUNE, India, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- The driver for Angelina Jolie reportedly sideswiped a 19-year-old on his motor bike in India during an escape attempt from area paparazzi.

While Jolie sat in the car reading, the driver of her car allegedly hit Mittal Rawat while attempting to elude a pack of photographers leaving the teenager shaken but relatively unhurt, E! Online reported.

Jolie and her "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" co-star, Brad Pitt, and in India filming a film about slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.

Wednesday's incident not only continued an ongoing trend of traffic accidents caused by insistent photographers but was the second occurrence for the celebrity couple during their visit to the Indian state of Maharashtra. The Web site reported that on Saturday, one of the couple's security officers shoved a member of the paparazzi and allegedly threatened to kill him.
