LONDON, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Australian designer Jenny Kee claims some of rock's biggest names among her sexual conquests, but insists in her new memoir that she was no groupie.

Kee's "A Big Life," which goes on sale Monday, claims she slept with John Lennon, Keith Richards, Roger Daltry and Eric Clapton during her halcyon days in London during the mid-to-late 1960s.

Kee, 59, described the flings as encounters with the artists whom she met while designing hipster fashions worn by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, The Times of London reported Saturday.

She claimed she and Lennon hooked up in a hotel in his pre-Yoko days after the Beatle said he had never been with an Asian woman.

Kee, whose work was inspired by her native rural Australia, moved on to design for Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel. Her creations were later worn by Princess Diana.
