CW switches up schedule

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Warner Bros.' struggling CW network is rearranging its schedule, moving its Sunday comedies to Monday, in the hopes of bringing in more viewers.

Zap2it.com reported that beginning Monday, the network will be switching around its Sunday night and Monday night programming.

On Monday, "7th Heaven" and "Runaway" will be replaced by comedies including "Everybody Hates Chris," "Girlfriends" and the new comedy series "The Game."

"7th Heaven," in its 11th season, will air on Sunday, followed by the less successful "Runaway." CW dramas formerly aired on Monday nights.

The comedy CW lineup is in competition with CBS comedies that also air on Mondays, with shows including "How I Met Your Mother" and "The New Adventures of Old Christine."
