LOS ANGELES, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Actor David Arquette has confirmed that he and his wife, Courtney Cox-Arquette, want to join Bob and Harvey Weinstein's Hollywood production of "Scream 4."
Moviehole.net said Arquette recently acknowledged that while he and his wife have expressed interest in reprising their roles in the "Scream" film franchise, the Weinstein Company has yet to contact them -- despite reportedly having already begun production.
David Arquette had previously played deputy sheriff Dewey Riley in the three serial killer films, while his wife played TV newswoman Gale Weathers in the horror trilogy.
The couple recently acted in "The Tripper," a slasher film that was David Arquette's feature film directorial debut, said the Web site.
