'View' co-hosts defend S.E. Cupp over Hustler photo

HOLLYWOOD, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Rocker Dave Matthews has landed a role as the villain in the upcoming U.S. film "Lake City" opposite Sissy Spacek and Troy Garrity.
The leader of the Dave Matthews Band will be the heavy in the story of an estranged mother and son who reunite to save their home.
Matthews has previous credits in "Because of Winn Dixie" and "Where the Red Fern Grows."
The Hollywood Reporter said Thursday that principal photography begins Monday in Virginia under the direction of Perry Moore and Hunter Hill, who also wrote the script.
Hill told the Reporter that Spacek's part was written with her in mind.
