CHICAGO, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- The Chicago debut of a clothing line from singer-actress Beyonce Knowles came a cropper when her mom objected to some quality-control questions.
According to MTV.com, Tina Knowles chastised a WBBM-TV consumer reporter who asked the pair about complaints received from retailers about allegedly improper sizing of the garments.

With her celebrity daughter looking on, the elder Knowles testily refused to answer the questions and told the reporter the interview was supposed to be "in a positive light."
Last week's interview was held in conjunction with the opening of a boutique for Beyonce's House of Dereon line at the Macy's in downtown Chicago.
