LOS ANGELES, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- David Beckham, in a new role as children's soccer coach, plans to take on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's adopted son Maddox as his first pupil in Los Angeles.

The Sun reported that Pitt and Jolie have already enrolled the Cambodian-born Maddox at the David Beckham Soccer Academy in Los Angeles. Five-year old Maddox is reported to be crazy about soccer.

The Sun learned that the middleman behind this arrangement is former Wimbledon star Vinnie Jones.

Beckham, 31, has started the school as his stellar international soccer career comes to an end.
