NEW YORK, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Beatles classics remixed for a Las Vegas show have been compiled on a CD called "Love," Apple Corps and Capital Records announced Wednesday.
The collection was produced by George Martin, who directed many of the group's original recording sessions, and is used as the soundtrack of the new Beatles-themed Cirque Du Soleil show at the Mirage in Las Vegas.
The production of "LOVE" involved the original master tapes of many of the songs, which were remixed by Martin and his son, Giles.
"This music was designed for the 'LOVE' show in Las Vegas but in doing so we've created a new Beatles album," Martin said in a news release. "The Beatles always looked for other ways of expressing themselves and this is another step forward for them."
The CDs will hit store shelves in November.
