Moby in no hurry for new release

Sept. 29, 2006 at 8:54 PM   |   Comments

NEW YORK, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- U.S. singer and musician Moby is not rushing to release a new CD, even though he has hundreds of songs, Billboard.com said.

"I'd say I have three or four hundred songs, but not three or four hundred good ones," he told Billboard.com. "I've got a little bit of everything -- disco songs, rock songs."

Moby also said he feels "there's really only three times you can release a CD anymore."

Moby, as previously reported, will feature one new song, "New York, New York" on his greatest hits set, "Go: The Best Of," due out Oct. 24.

Moby did report initial discussions to collaborate with Courtney Love on her next album. However, Love reportedly opted to make the album with producer Linda Perry.
